The Colts plan to improve facilities for girls, as a lack of changing facilities means they can only offer them mini rugby just now. The plan is to renovate a disused building, clean and paint inside and out, and install toilets and showers. This will support a girls youth rugby programme for the upcoming season.
Paul Cunnane, Club Treasurer, said: “We were formed in 2009 and we have grown from an initial membership of 80 mini rugby players to approximately 300 members encompassing minis, youths and adult rugby players. These funds will enable us to continue growing our member base and we are very grateful to Ulster Bank for this support.”
