Claremorris Company stages Ireland’s biggest Commercial Vehicle Show in Dublin

On 5th November the doors of the Citywest Convention Centre, Dublin will open to the inaugural Fleet Transport EXPO 12, a two day Commercial Vehicle Exhibition dedicated to the road transport and logistics industries.

Organised by Claremorris-based Fleet Publications magazine, the event is the largest and most comprehensive ever to be staged in Ireland, catering for every transport operator’s daily requirements, according to Jarlath Sweeney, Group Editor at Fleet Publications. “Exhibitors at the Fleet Transport EXPO cover the entire spectrum of the marketplace from commercial vehicle and trailer manufacturers, through to telematics, tyre management, vehicle finance, parts and components and accessories etc.,” he said.

“Successful businesses constantly strive for development, efficiency and effectiveness and another key feature of the Fleet Transport EXPO 12 will be the free-to-attend Seminar programme, which will provide visitors with ‘proven methods’ of implementing cost-effective efficiencies and the latest information on health and safety and legal practice,” added Jarlath.

The event is also hosting the finals of the European Transport Company of the Year Award and the announcement and presentation of the International Pick-Up truck Award 2013. Delegates and journalists are travelling from all over the EU to attend.

Fleet Transport EXPO 12 will be officially opened by Rally legend Miki Biasion who will bring along his Iveco Trakker EVO2 Dakar Rally race truck. Entry is free but visitors are advised to register on line on www.fleetexpo.ie. Opening times at the Citywest Convention Centre, Dublin are Monday 5th November 10.00 – 18.00 and Tuesday 6th November 09.30 – 17.00. The event concludes with the Fleet Transport Awards 2013 Gala Dinner on Tuesday 6th November at the Citywest Hotel.
